I am a descendant of settlers on Treaty 6 territory with lineage threads tracing to Irish, English, Polish, and French ancestry. Because of my social position of privilege and my role as mother to a racialized child, I am fiercely devoted to lifelong, self-imposed anti-racism and decolonization education.
I am a Registered Social Worker since 2022 and a Holistic Health Care Practitioner since 2006, specializing in Flower Essences, as well as a professional foot Reflexologist (retired), and a Reiki Master/teacher. I am a forever student, an independent mom, a recovering alcoholic and drug addict, an intersectional feminist, and a raw human being who is funny, passionate, compassionate, and a little rough around the edges. I am committed to not hiding my humanity with my professionalism and to celebrating the humanity of all those whose paths I cross. I am dedicated to meeting my life on it’s terms and to helping others do the same through the use of Flower Essences and compassionate, trauma-informed listening, drawing the answers out of the questioner simply by holding intentional space.
