Angel’s Trumpet
At times of poignant transformation, we sometimes feel as though we might die, think that maybe we want to die, or be highly perceptive of death around us. These experiences may point to death of a part of ourselves, which is so often an integral component of personal transformation. The spirit medicine of Angel’s Trumpet is precisely for those experiences, imparting a capacity for deep surrender that facilitates allowing old parts of ourselves that don’t serve anymore to die off, rather than being paralyzed by the fear of death and change. This type of surrender, albeit difficult and painful, opens up spiritual pathways for new ways of being, and nurtures the evolution of different, more aligned parts of ourselves. It is as though dead matter (the parts of ourselves that we allow to die off) functioning as fertilizer for new and beautiful growth.
