Lavender medicine is specific for those who are perceptive of myriad spiritual influences, are highly aware and alert, capable of accomplishing many things. This can cause congestion of energy in the being, making these individuals anxious, tense, uptight, nervous or unable to sleep. Lavender is classically soothing for the overly nervous person. Its essence relieves and pacifies the nervous system, while also helping us to discover how to modulate intake of information, creating more manageability.

Recommended Activity: Create a playlist of music that is calming for you. If possible, create this playlist on a mobile device that you can carry with you. When struck with nervousness/anxiety, reach for the music to briefly soothe yourself. If you work in a high-paced or crowded environment, you may need to escape to the bathroom or your vehicle for a couple minutes or have headphones handy.
